PARADISE TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
WORK SESSION MINUTES
JUNE 18, 2018
5:00 P.M.

A work session of the Paradise Township Board of Supervisors was held at the Paradise Township Municipal Building, 5912 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco, PA.

PRESENT:  Gary Konrath, Peter Gonze, Reda Briglia, Debra Brady, and Solicitor Prevoznik.

Konrath called the work session to order at 5:05 p.m.

Act 537 – Sewage Management Plan (SMP)
Konrath stated that Steve Dellinger has forwarded an email from Todd Stires, Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), requesting that the Board reconsider including and SMP in their updated Act 537 Plan.  Gonze stated that the Township has received the model SMP from DEP and several SMP ordinances from other municipalities.  The Board discussed the implementation of doing an SMP including costs to implement, exceptions, necessity of implementing a SMP, and other issues.  At this time, the Board would also want the Township Planning Commission involved.  

Computer Back-Up
Briglia stated that she is arranging to have Jason Farr, Supertech, participate in a phone conference call at an upcoming work session to discuss the back-up server.

Skelly and Loy Engineers/Contract
Gonze asked Brady where the Township stands on the Skelly and Loy Engineers contract for the stream restoration project.  Brady stated that she was waiting on the Board to sign the contract.  Solicitor Prevoznik questioned Brady if she has contacted Skelly and Loy per his email dated June 6.  Brady stated that she has and is ready for the Board to sign the contract.

Adjournment
Konrath adjourned the work session at 5:54 p.m.
