PARADISE TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
WORK SESSION MINUTES
APRIL 1, 2019
5:00 P.M.

A work session of the Paradise Township Board of Supervisors was held at the Paradise Township Municipal Building, 5912 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco, PA.

PRESENT:  Gary Konrath, Peter Gonze, Reda Briglia, Charles Unangst, and Solicitor Prevoznik.

Konrath called the work session to order at 5:12 p.m.

Zoning Officer
Discuss Filing, Growing Greener Grant, Current Ordinance Book
The Board discussed several items that need to be completed before Brady retires.  Konrath will meet with Brady and Jake Schray tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. to review open zoning issues that Jake Schray will need to follow-up on and also go over frequently asked zoning questions.  The Board will request that Brady print a current copy of the Code of Ordinances for Jake Schray.  The Growing Greener Grant was discussed and Briglia will follow-up with Brady on the contact information for the DEP Grant and Skelly Loy Engineers. 

Zoning Officer Applications
Discuss Job Description, Applicants and Interviews.
Briglia had submitted an updated zoning officer job description for the Board to review.  Briglia will amend the job description with Gonze’s comments.  The applications received for the zoning officer’s position were reviewed.  The Board selected two applicants for interviews.  Briglia will draft an interview questionnaire for the interview process.
