Call to Order
Chairman Greco called the July 13, 2010 Planning Commission meeting to order at 5:30pm. The meeting was held at the Paradise Township Municipal Building, Route 940, Paradise Valley, Cresco, PA.
Public Comment Statement
Chairman Greco announced the following public comment statement: “Ladies and gentlemen, before the Planning Commission votes on any matter, the Commission will allow for public comment on that particular item. If you wish to be heard at that time, please raise your hand, and you will be recognized.” (At that time, please state your name for the record.)
Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes
Motion: Raczko moved seconded by Montgomery to approve the July 13, 2010 Regular meeting minutes as presented.
Motion carried 4-0.

New Submittals for Acceptance

Plan Reviews
PARC- Seven Pines Stormwater Management Plan
Unangst distributed revised Park plans for the Commission to review. Mrs. Brady gave a brief summary of the history of the Seven Pines Park Plan for the Commission.
Motion: Raczko moved seconded by Stevens to recommend approval of the Seven Pines Park Stormwater Plan revision contingent upon Engineer review.
Motion carried 4-0.
Motion: Raczko moved seconded by Stevens to modify motion to include the recommendation to authorize Engineer Brick Linder to issue an Act 167 consistency letter at his discretion.
Motion carried 4-0.

Other Business
Sign Ordinance
Mrs. Brady explained that the changes that Raczko and Shepstone suggested were incorporated into the proposed Chapter 114 Sign Ordinance.
There was discussion about the types of signs that should be or should not be changeable.
It was agreed that the following signs should be allowed to be changeable:
Marquee Signs Main Entrance Signs Projecting Signs
Free Standing Signs Monument Signs
Monument Signs Blade Signs
There was further discussion about the other changes that should be made.
Motion: Raczko moved seconded by Greco to recommend the Board of Supervisors look favorably upon the Proposed Chapter 114 sign Ordinance contingent upon these changes being made.

Curative Sign Amendment
Motion: Raczko moved seconded by Stevens to recommend to the Board of Supervisors to use the Proposed Chapter 114 Sign Ordinance as a response to the curative amendment.
Motion carried 3-0.
There being no further business or comment, the meeting was adjourned.
Motion: Raczko moved seconded by Stevens to adjourn the meeting at 6:48pm.
Motion carried 3-0.
